OCTOBER 21-24, 2027   |   GREEN VALLEY, ARIZONA
THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL FIRST FESTIVAL! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

There's nowhere in the world quite like the Southwestern United States. It's a place where dozens of cultures come together under one pristine sky to spread and build community, family, and the kind of research that generates awe in wonder about our place in the Universe. It's also home to the Northern Hemisphere's largest concentration of ground-based research observatories. Southwest Skies is bringing them to one place— Green Valley, Arizona— where you can enjoy lectures, activities, booths, star parties, and special access to our host: Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory's Fred Lawrence Whipple Observatory, part of the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian.
